Setting the Ground Work

1. Marketing Goals & Customer Lifetime Value

In order to fully understand the marketing strategy it takes to sell a vehicle in today’s environment we first must discuss the goals of automotive executives when they gather in the war room.

Is it yearly sales numbers? Customer satisfaction? Brand Awareness?

The answer is lifetime value of a customer. By definition, customer lifetime value is a metric for the profit any given business makes from a single consumer. By maximizing your customer lifetime value you are decreasing your cost of acquiring a purchase, increasing your brand awareness and building a loyal following all at the same time.
